In this latest edition of "Konselor," a prestigious journal published by Universitas Negeri Padang in partnership with the Ikatan Konselor Indonesia, we delve into a rich tapestry of research that intersects the fields of psychology, education, and counseling. Volume 12, Number 2 of 2023, presents a collection of five compelling articles, each offering unique insights into the complexities of mental health, learning processes, and therapeutic interventions in contemporary settings.

The first article, "Emotional Regulation and Resilience of Students Writing Thesis in Higher Education," explores the vital interplay between emotional regulation and resilience among students engaged in the demanding task of thesis writing. This study offers valuable insights into the psychological processes that underpin academic success and highlights the importance of emotional skills in navigating higher education challenges.

Navigating the intricacies of academic life, the second article titled "Navigating Academic Challenges: Self-Regulated Learning Analysis of Academic Procrastination Students" delves into the phenomenon of academic procrastination. The third article, "A Bibliometric Analysis of the Anxiety Disorder Topics in 2023," presents a comprehensive overview of the current research landscape on anxiety disorders. In the post-pandemic era, the fourth article, "Post Pandemic Career Planning Strategy for Generation Z Based on Cultural and Religion Values," offers timely insights. It explores how cultural and religious values shape career planning strategies for Generation Z, considering the unique challenges and opportunities in the post-pandemic world.

Lastly, the fifth article, "Dialectical Behavior Therapy in the Treatment of Perfectionism: A Single Case Design," examines the efficacy of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in treating perfectionism. This single-case study highlights the potential of DBT as a therapeutic approach for individuals struggling with the often-debilitating effects of perfectionism.

Moderating Role of Job Control and Coping Strategies in the Relationship Between Emotional Job Demands and Burnout Among Health Workers: Examining the crucial topic of healthcare professionals' well-being, this research investigates the influence of job control and coping mechanisms in mitigating burnout resulting from emotional job demands.
