KONSELOR. In 2007, the print version of the inaugural issue was made available to the public. Since its first release, it has undergone a number of shifts, both in terms of its editorial administration and its editorial policy.

• In 2007, the printed edition of the inaugural issue was made available. 2007 was the year that the ISSN Print was released.
• Since 2012, KONSELOR has been published exclusively online; nevertheless, it does not have an e-ISSN. Despite the fact that KONSELOR has been accessible online since 2012, the editing process, which includes submission and evaluation, was handled offline. At the tail end of 2016, management came to an agreement to begin the online editorial process.
• ISSN Online was first made available by LIPI on September 2016, with the Vol. 5, No. 3 issue. Since 2017, all articles are required to use the most recent version of the KONSELOR template.
• 2017 was the year that the journal was registered and indexed on a number of websites, including Google Scholar, IPI, Sinta, and others. The Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) joined Crossref on February 3, 2017, and KONSELOR utilized the DOI prefix 10.24036.
• 13 July 2017 The DOAJ has given their approval for KONSELOR to be indexed.
• Every single manuscript needs to be written in English. The management of the company decided to go ahead and implement these new regulations and policies for the volume 7 number 2 issue of 2018.
• KONSELOR has been online since 2012 but without e-ISSN
• The year 2023 will be remembered as the year in which KONSELOR underwent a complete makeover to become the most prestigious journal in the area of counseling psychology in Indonesia. KONSELOR will appear with a new face and new policies to provide a positive experience for authors.
