Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- Ensure the manuscript has undergone a plagiarism check using reliable software to verify the originality of the content.
- Confirm that the research involving human subjects or animals has received proper ethical clearance from relevant authorities.
- Ensure that all individuals listed as authors meet the criteria for authorship and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Verify that informed consent has been obtained from participants involved in the study, especially in research involving human subjects.
- Double-check all citations for accuracy, ensuring that proper credit is given to the original authors and sources. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and does not contain redundant or overlapping content.
- Verify that all images and data presented in the manuscript are genuine and have not been manipulated or falsified.
- Provide a clear statement regarding any potential conflicts of interest related to the research, funding, or affiliations.
- Ensure that the manuscript complies with the specific guidelines and policies of the journal, including formatting, referencing style, and word count limitations.
- Understand the journal's peer review process and be prepared to address reviewers' comments and suggestions professionally and thoroughly.
- Respect the confidentiality of the peer review process and avoid discussing details of the manuscript with unauthorized individuals.
Original Articles
We welcome original research manuscripts that contribute significantly to the scientific community. Submissions must present methodologically robust experiments, offering substantial new insights. To ensure relevance, incorporate the latest references in your field. The manuscript structure should comprise Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and optional Conclusions, with a minimum word count of 6000. We encourage authors to adhere to these guidelines to facilitate a seamless review process and enhance the overall quality of published work.
Correspondence to the Editors
Letters submitted to KONSELOR should specifically respond to previously published content within a six-week timeframe from the original item's publication date. These responses should be concise, limited to 1000 words. While we primarily encourage letters linked to our journal content, occasional consideration may be given to general interest letters, not exceeding 600 words. Each submission can include up to two tables or figures and should cite no more than ten references. It's essential to note that submitted letters are subject to editorial revisions, ensuring clarity and coherence in communication. Adherence to these guidelines ensures the publication of insightful and impactful letters within our journal.
Essay
Essays, a prominent article type in our field, serve as platforms to present thought-provoking arguments, designed to challenge readers' perspectives on specific topics. Structurally akin to reviews, these pieces are expected to contain a minimum of 4000 words. Essays must provide substantial, well-researched arguments supported by relevant references, encouraging readers to critically reconsider prevailing notions. Authors are encouraged to craft compelling narratives that not only challenge existing paradigms but also contribute significantly to the scholarly discourse. Through well-supported arguments, Essays in our journal aim to stimulate intellectual engagement and foster a deeper understanding of complex issues within the counseling and psychology.
